70 PROCENT
Niet een mooie maar een slimme kop verhoogt de kans op succes bij verkiezingen.
Volgens de Princeton Universiteit (USA) winnen competent ogende kandidaten 70 procent van alle Amerikaanse verkiezingen. Rest de vraag: "Wat is dat eigenlijk, een intelligent uiterlijk?"
Misschien dat de onderstaande tabel met Amerikaanse presidentsverkiezingen aanknopingspunten biedt. Voor het gemak heb ik de meest 'competent' ogende kandidaten (de latere presidenten dus) vet weergegeven. Maar ga me nou niet vragen hoe het met Bush Jr. zit want eh, dat snap ik ook niet hoor!
