Zelf schrijft Mister Playboy daarover op zijn website: "Contrary to popular myth, we don't grow our Playmates in rabbit-shaped petri dishes in the basement of the Playboy Mansion. Omdat echt helemaal niemand veel wijzer wordt van zo'n nogal cryptisch antwoord besloot ik zelf op onderzoek uit te gaan. Het resultaat van die queeste naar de vele tientallen, nee hónderden schaars geklede modellen die poseerden voor de Nederlandse editie van Playboy vind je op deze pagina.
